Academic requirements for Central Queensland University
IT may vary between courses. You will need to satisfy the minimum academic requirements for the course you wish to apply for as outlined in Central Queensland University student handbook. The following details the Australian academic requirements necessary to study at Central Queensland University, as well as alternative entry options and recognition of prior learning. Central Queensland University recognises qualifications obtained from overseas for entry into our courses.
Successful completion of Australian Year 10 or equivalent.
Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; or completion of AQF Certificate IV or equivalent.
Successful completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 12. An approved university foundation studies or formal Australian Certificate IV can also be taken to meet this entry requirement.
If you have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or advanced diploma (or equivalent) you may gain advanced standing into your Central Queensland University course.
Completion of a bachelor degree with the equivalent to an Australian pass grade average in the final two terms, from a recognised higher education institution.

English Courses at Central Queensland University
We offer quality English courses for only $375 per week, this includes all application, enrolment, placement test and material fees.
We offer high quality courses and small groups for students who want to improve their level of English or for those seeking direct entry into our undergraduate (diplomas and bachelors) or postgraduate programs (Graduated certificate, Graduated Diploma, masters, research programs and PhD) upon completion of the EAP levels, without the need for the student to submit IELTS, PTE or any other English test.
We have a great cultural diversity in our courses allowing students to be exposed to many different accents.
We have English centres in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Rockhampton (Our largest headquarters located in a regional area in Queensland)
The levels are divided into blocks of 10 weeks, student will be able to enrol in 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 weeks of English according to their requirements.
To establish how many weeks each student requires we should have a previous exam (PTE, TOELF, IELTS, etc.) if the student has not presented any of these exams, we also offer our free placement test that will allow us to know at what level the student will start and how many weeks are enough to reach their academic goals and bilingual communication.
We do not charge for Placement test, application or enrolment.
