On 14 October DIBP will released new guidelines for 457 visa processing. The important facts are: Employees can remain in Australia after their employment ceases will be reduced from 90 days to 60 days. This change would apply to visas granted on, or after, 19 November 2016. Cancellation process wont be started in cases where employment has ceased with their nominated employer, but a new nomination application was lodged within 90 days. Application can be refused if data or documents are missing unless there is a reasonable explanation provided.
